Khaiah Finally Gets Some Pages!
Thank you to Kinyorda for providing me with a birthday present to show off the frisky biscuit. She had the background papers, the embellishments, the photo mats and extra coordinating paper all set for me to make some pages featuring my wild child. As you can see, Khaiah loves to eat just about anything and is good at laying down and being a slug. Isn't she a pretty girl?

Chip Board Jungle Album
I found the original idea for this at the Paper Trail:
http://followingthepapertrail.blogspot.com/2011/12/on-eighth-day-of-christmas-projects.html
My chip board dimensions are slightly different. The middle spine piece is 2 1/2" wide so I could put more pockets in, and all my pieces are only 6" high. The pages inside are still made using 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" card stock pieces. I used Tombo glue to adhere the chip board to the paper for the cover, then used red liner tape to wrap the paper around the edges.
This album is for my friend's baby shower. On each of the pages, guests will write a note or some advice for the new mom-to-be. Each of the pages is actually a pocket. The blue and red scallops that you see can be pulled out, and either pictures or journaling can be placed on them.
The paper is from Joann's - the Animal Crackers Safari paper pack. The ribbon is Stampin' Up seam binding in Crumb Cake and 1/8" grosgrain in Pumpkin Pie. There are clear beads separating each page, which I also got in the kids section of Joann's.
